I don't think it makes sense to compare hardships, but it is true that people in different parts of the world have different challenges, and in some places those challenges are literally life & death. But honestly, it's like comparing sin. It's all sin, it's all wrong, so stoppit. It's all challenging, it's all dangerous in some way, so how are you going to rise up to meet it?
Sometimes I think we work harder at protecting ourselves than we do at actually living as we ought. And if that's what we're doing, we aren't living as we ought. Weird how that works, hey?
Not really.
I don't have a simple way to make changes, just encouragement to do it. Start small. Be a little light; the more little lights we have in the Church, the more illuminated the world will become.
